When it comes to spinning the reels on your favourite slot, we are all fishing for a big win and the latest game to come from Microgaming is set to reveal a big catch for some lucky spinners.

The name of the game is Reel Spinner and it is due for release in July 2016.

We love the play on words for the title of this new addition to the Microgaming suite of games. Not only does it encompass the popular phrase used to describe slot players, but also covers the fishing theme of the actual game.

Reel Spinner Trailer

Microgaming have released a trailer for the slot on YouTube and you can view it by clicking the image below:

If you ever played Reel Strike, you might think that Reel Spinner has a familiar feel.

The game features five reels and 15 paylines and offers bonus features like stacked wilds and up to 20 free spins with a 5x multiplier.

It’s been said the game promises to deliver a great gaming experience for the spinner, deliver big wins and have impressive playability but in all honesty, from watching the trailer, we’re not excited about the impending launch.

Free Spins On Reel Spinner

It looks as though the free spin rounds are going to be where the biggest win potential will be and this is activated when you spin in three scatter symbols.

You’ll then be asked to choose one of six boats to reveal the number of free spins that you will be allocated. You’ll be awarded 5, 10, 15 or 20 free spins.

A fishing reel then appears to reveal your multiplier. This will be 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x. Additionally it looks as though stacked wilds will be a feature when the free spins are in play.

As is the case with all new slots that have yet to be launched, we will reserve full judgement on the game until we can actually spin the reels for ourselves.
