Immortal Romance turned into bingo game

18 Feb 2014

With many players still reeling (pardon the pun) from the release of the Avalon II slot from Microgaming, the globally-famous games developer has knocked us for six with yet another exciting announcement.

Back in 2011, they released a game called Immortal Romance, which turned into a huge success on the online casino circuit. Now it seems, they’re taking the vampire-themed game and giving it a bingo makeover in a bid to make it more appealing to a wider audience.

Apparently, all the special features and familiar characters from the slot will appear in the new bingo-style game, which we’re hoping will be launched in due course at Microgaming-powered sites like 32Red Bingo.

Microgaming’s Head of Bingo, David Reynolds, describes their latest brainchild as “a real game-changer and industry first concept”, and we can’t wait to see what the finished product looks like.

If the concept proves to be a smash hit, it might just be possible that we’ll see more slots going down the same route. Dare we suggest the likes of 90-ball Avalon II, or a 75-ball version of The Dark Knight? It’s also possible that other gaming developers like IGT and Net Entertainment could follow suit, so watch this space for any future developments.
