As one of the UK’s biggest operators, with over 40 clubs around the UK, Genting Casino have made the town of Southport in Merseyside their latest home.
The new club is all-set to open its doors in March 2013 and introduce the town’s curious residents to its luxurious interior.
Genting has had an eye on the area for many years, so when The Waterfront development area, costing £30 million to create, started offering tenancies to businesses, they leapt at the opportunity. Once the new premises is ready, they will vacate their existing club on Lord Street and will join the only other existing occupant at the development – a tapas bar – in touting for business.
The club’s interior designers have now entered their final stages and once complete, there will be 14 games tables in the main room, as well as an area for slots and electronic roulette machines and a spacious poker room. In a separate area, a fully-licensed bar, dance floor and stage will keep visitors entertained and a restaurant with terrace views will keep members well-fed.
The new casino’s general manager, Paul Smith, says they are aiming to offer the “very best casino in the region,” and are eagerly anticipating moving in to their new home imminently.
