Compliance has become a big part of the British gaming industry and as the regulations tighten, it becomes more and more important for gambling business both online and land based to stay abreast of the latest development. The Gambling Compliance Global Regulatory Awards reward those gaming brands that do best, and this year Genting UK received a special award.
The 2018 Gambling Compliance Global Regulatory Awards run in association with GambleAware and the 2018 awards have just taken place. In these, Genting UK was one of the brands rewarded as Nigel Harvey, head of anti-money laundering (AML) at Genting UK walked away the winner of, Head of AML/MLRO of the Year award for land based operations. Harvey was selected the winner for going beyond what is legally required of him and being highly motivated and effective in his work.
The award recognises an individual that has taken measures to ensure their company works in a proactive manner through the various anti money laundering directives set by regulators in the countries they operate. Harvey was selected for the award for being so highly motivated and effective in his work.
Nigel Harvey said after the awards “I am absolutely thrilled to have been presented with an award at the prestigious Gambling Compliance Global Regulatory Awards. It was a great event and a fantastic celebration of all the hard work that goes on within the casino industry.
