bet365’s poker goes mobile

7 Sep 2013

Fans of poker at bet365 will be pleased to hear that the operator has just launched a mobile app for UK customers.

The first release of the application will only be available to users with phones which support the HTML 5 iOS client, although it will later be rolled out across the entire network.

The mobile app’s tables will include heads-up, six-max and full ring, plus there’ll also be a range of Speed Hold’em games where players can place stakes ranging from as low as $0.02/$0.04 to as high as $0.50/$1. The supported currency will be US dollars, and players will be able to enjoy a selection of tables from Playtech’s iPoker network as well as mobile-only tables. Eager poker fans will need to visit the bet365Poker site on their iPhone and iPad devices in order to access the new client.

The iPoker network has somewhat lagged behind its competitors when it comes to launching a product for mobile devices, and when Playtech recently released their latest financial results, they admitted that they had failed to take full advantage of the growth in mobile gaming. However, it may be a case of “better late than never” as hopefully, fans of bet365 will appreciate the highly-anticipated arrival of their favourite card game on their Apple devices.
