Big Brother Celebrity Hijack: Early betting

Celebrity Big Brother is back on our telly boxes but not as we know it. Now it is called Big Brother Celebrity Hijack with a revamp on the whole format of the show.

Firstly, a ‘celebrity’ will not win the show. The show is made up of housemates who have enjoyed relative success in their careers (maybe that makes you a celebrity these days?) with the ‘real’ celebrities hijacking the role of Big Brother.

The show will no longer be on Channel 4 but instead on its little sister channel E4. After the Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty race row, Channel 4 are not taking anymore chances.

And after one day of the show, betting on the winner has already started. The early favourite is John Loughton, who is already guaranteed a place in the final after passing a task that involved Matt Lucas barking absurd instructions to him through an earpiece. John is the Scottish Youth Parliament chairman and a former winner of the Young Edinburgh Award.

Next favourite is musician Nathan Fagan-Gayle who has been nominated for a MOBO and has supported Missy Elliot amongst other things.
