Recently there have been new slots launched at online casinos from Microgaming but the question is, do they have the playability of other titles from this popular developer?
The first of the two slots I span the reels of was Life Of Riches, a slot that that had been reviewed from its trailer earlier in December [read article here].
To be honest, the game was a massive disappointment from the moment I launched it. The graphics are poor, the playability dull and the bonus features not at all impressive.
For the most part when reviewing any new slot that launches from any developer there is a sense of excitement. This was not an emotion that was created when spinning the reels of Life Of Riches.
With so many far superior games available online today, this is not one that I’ll be spinning again.
I’m not big on Chinese mythology but Huangdi is known as the Yellow Emperor and as you might expect, the slot has a very oriental theme.
It is reported to be set in the time of a battle between Huangdi and Zhuolo when Huangdi won against the Nine-Li tribe.
The graphics on this Microgaming slot are nearly as poor as the Life Of Riches slot and the playability just as uninteresting. Symbols include the usual cards 10 through to A and then dragons and swords.
The game has five reels and 25 paylines and whilst playing the base game, I was just hoping that when the bonus hit, it brought this slot to life.
It was that tedious that I stuck the autoplay on and continued writing this article as I waited for the bonus round to land. It didn’t after 30 minutes so I gave up for fear of waking up with a keyboard imprint on my face.
There was a little excitement when three reels of stacked medicine boxes landed, but then it was quickly back to the tedium.
Neither of the new releases from Microgaming will be on our list of favourites but that’s just my opinion, you may think they are great! If you want to try either game out you will find them at 32Red Casino and others that host Microgaming titles.
