The new look idents for Slingo were created by Sassy Films and four fictitious characters star in them. There’s Pommagne and Delorean, a couple and their overworked and underpaid PA, L’Avigne.
The star of the show is a Chihuahua named Snarl Lagerfield and he sports a Slingo branded harness.
When the bumper starts you see the four reels of a casino game showing star symbols and as they spin, the Slingo jester too. The finally come to rest with the four main characters on the reels.
Across the bottom of the screen is the welcome offer of 50 free spins.
Pommagne is seen with L’Avigne on the sofa and as she opens her mouth to tell of how she has broken her Slingo fingernail, her accent is very TOWIE.
L’Avigne repairs the damage, Snarl Lagerfield appears on Pommagne’s lap and she continues playing Slingo on her mobile.
The storyboard for the advert clearly fits with what E! Entertainment is all about but it all seems very female orientated.
The commercial itself doesn’t seem to have any appeal to the men, it’s very gender bias to women in our opinion.
