Red Hawk Casino saw two substantial jackpots won in hit-and-run gaming sessions by local players this week.
On Sunday, November 4th, one player named Alice, who lives in nearby Sacramento, was about to leave the casino.
But her friend wanted one last spin of the reels, and Alice agreed to stay for a few minutes to play a Quick Hit Black and Gold Wild slot.
The machine lived up to its ‘quick hit’ title, landing on Quick Hit symbols across its reels to represent a jackpot win.
Alice wasn’t sure how much her payout might be, until a casino host told her she had just won $23,805.
The following day, a Placerville resident headed to Red Hawk Casino to play Super Ruins Gold.
He too scooped a jackpot in his first few minutes of spinning the reels, earning over $30,000 in the process.
The unnamed Rewards Club member’s win, added to Alice’s jackpot payout, and took the pair’s total to $53,925 – around £33,640.
Alice told the casino she may use her winnings to cover the cost of some recent home improvement work, without having to raid her existing savings.
With quick-paying jackpot slots, it’s easy to see why Red Hawk Casino earned the accolade of the 2012 ‘Best of Slots’ award from Strictly Slots Magazine – and why local players continue to flock to its gaming floor to try their luck.
