Playtech may have lost all the Marvel titles but they aren’t resting on their laurels.
Working hard to expand their portfolio, Playtech have teamed up with Warner Bros and will soon be launching a Suicide Squad slot.
It was in August 2016 that the Suicide Squad film was released in cinemas. The film cost $175 million to make and grossed $745.6 million at the box office!
If you’re a fan of the DC Comics then you may well know the answer, if you don’t, they are a collection of DC Comic villains who were collected up and sent on various missions that others would not touch.
They first appeared in 1959 and included favourites like Poison Ivy (Batman’s enemy), Captain Cold (leader of the Rogues), Penguin (another of Batman’s adversaries) and Black Adam (enemy of Captain Marvel).
A favourite of the film, and supervillains in general, is Harley Quinn. This colourful character is an accomplice to the Joker.
Playability, great graphics, impressive winning potential – all the key ingredients that we have come to expect from the Playtech camp.
The Suicide Squad slot will no doubt wow us with an array of bonus features and games including free spins. It could be that each of the villains on the reels has their own bonus feature. We have seen this incorporated on some of the other DC branded slots already.
The new title will also be part of the Playtech progressive jackpot, the DC Super Heroes Jackpot. This offers four potential jackpots that are the Mini (seeded at £100), the Minor, the Major and the Grand. The latter is seeded at £200,000 so a win could be life changing.
We don’t have a launch date as yet but keep checking back for updates and further information over the coming weeks.
