Fans of Playtech-powered online casinos are in for a treat as the gaming provider has just announced news of the planned roll-out of their entire range of live casino games to mobile devices.

The majority of mobile phones and tablet devices will be compatible, including iPhones, iPads and Androids, thanks to Playtech’s use of both native and HTML5 platforms.

Operators like William Hill Casino will shortly be able to offer their members the option to play live Playtech games such as roulette, baccarat, and blackjack instantly via their mobile browsers or by downloading the mobile app. Playtech has also introduced some new games as part of the initiative, giving players more choice than ever before with its exclusive version of Casino Hold’em, Double Screen Roulette and Unlimited Blackjack.

Aviv Nankin, Playtech’s Head of Live Games, believes the roll-out will take the company’s live offering to the next level, and also enable operators to give their members the ability to play live games on-the-go, “anytime and anywhere”. He also says that Playtech-powered online casinos such as William Hill will now have “a strong competitive advantage” over other operators, by taking advantage of the new mobile platforms to attract new players as well as retain existing ones.
