Peek A Boo is a new slot release from the powerhouse that is Microgaming.
It’s not the first version of the game though because the three reel offering has been around for quite some time.
The game boasts five reels and 40 fixed base paylines. However, when in the free spin mode available, the Peek a Boo game has an impressive 1024 paylines.
You’ll find an array of different features available in the game including wilds, scatters, multipliers and of course free spins. The only downside is that there is no bonus game.
When you open the game for the first time it’s hard to really tell what the theme is. It seems to be a cross between Ghostbusters and something like Candy Crush.
There are four different ‘Boo’ ghost symbols (red, yellow, green and blue) and a Ghost Zapper.
When the ghost zapper appears on reel 3 he is able to zap one ghost per reel and these will be added to your Ghost Metre. Collect 10 and you are awarded 10 Free Spins.
The Wild is the Peek A Boo symbol and this can appear stacked across all five reels.
It’s when you trigger the free spins that things get really interesting because your paylines increase from 40 to a whopping 1024.
Unlike many other slots online today, triggering the free spins isn’t done by rolling in three scatter or bonus symbols on the reels, it’s done by collecting ghosts.
Whilst in the free spin mode the 4th and 5th reels can respin for free, this is activated when any matching three symbols are on 1, 2 and 3.
These symbols will stick and reels 4 and 5 will respin, increasing the winning potential.
Our review was compiled whilst playing at 32Red Casino but the game is available at many of the Microgaming casinos online.
