A recent visit to Mr Green casino revealed that the site has had a makeover, a splash of virtual paint if you like but is it an improvement for the player?
The answer isn’t a simple one, we think it’s going to have a marmite effect – players will either love it or hate it.
The navigation around the new site takes a bit of getting used to. Previously you could access all areas via a horizontal menu bar but on the new site, the menu is now vertical.
One of the areas we always had a particular interest in was the promotional section. We couldn’t find this is at the new look site.
This could just be an oversight by Mr Green, a temporary loss as they ensure that the new site functions properly.
What is certainly an improvement is the way in which the games available are listed. From the home page at Mr Green you can now see several different sections:
Each section features a handful of game logos for the end user to choose from and then the option of viewing more games under that category.
What we felt was missing was the counters for the jackpot games, an indication for the player as to the current value of each.
Additionally to the left of the screen there is the search icon, click this and you have the option to type the name of the game you are looking for.
At the time of writing this article, the function wasn’t working but this can be attributed to a ‘glitch’ that has to be addressed, something that often happens when a brand has a redesign.
The new site looks quite impressive and when the little ‘glitches’ have been corrected, will be perfect.
