Las Vegas Casino Sued By Elvis Presley Enterprises Inc.

Elvis Presley - Westgate Resort and Casino Viva Las Vegas!

It doesn’t matter your age, you will have heard of Elvis Presley and if you’re a casino slots player, you will have likely spun the reels on one of the many Elvis themed slots available.

In Las Vegas the Westgate Resort and Casino is currently being sued by Elvis Presley Enterprises Inc. for holding a selection of Elvis memorabilia ‘hostage’.

Elvis Presley Is All Shook Up

The items were loaned to the Westgate Resort and Casino for their Graceland Presents Elvis attraction.

It was an exhibition that opened in April 2014 with much interest and had been billed as the largest collection of Elvis memorabilia outside of his Graceland home.

It featured items such as the $1 million contract Elvis signed on a tablecloth and a suit that he had worn to perform at the casino.

There were also other stage outfits, items of jewellery and his high school yearbook.

However, at the beginning of this month the exhibition was closed and the reason given was that Exhibit A Circle LLC had defaulted on a lease agreement. It was suggested that Westgate had broken the contract first.

Nothing But A Hound Dog

Elvis Presley Enterprises Inc. have claimed that they have been unable to access the security cameras that were installed to monitor the items that have been loaned and as such, asked the court to order that all items be returned.

Westgate Casino was formerly known as the Las Vegas Hilton and The International, venues at which Elvis Presley performed hundreds of shows.

Elvis Slots

There are several Elvis themed slots available at a variety of online casinos. We haven’t seen any new ones launched in a while but a popular title comes to mind, Elvis A Little More Action.

A play on the words from his popular 1968 hit, A Little Less Conversation”, the IGT slot has five reels and an impressive 50 paylines.

This game can be found at a number of the casinos that we have reviewed including Paddy Power Casino.
