Ladbrokes has topped a charts of bookies’ money-back offers. No less than sixteen of the market’s leading sportsbook operators were judged on their promotions, to come up with a list of which operator offers the best value to the public.
Ladbrokes’ number one spot was boosted by its ‘What a Finish’ promotion, which allows bettors to claim a refund if their chosen horse loses a race by a neck or less. Paddy Power took the number two position, even though they offer a higher refund value (£100) compared to Ladbrokes (£25.)
The rankings were based on criteria such as how many cash-back offers were available, the value of the free bet or cash refund, and the number of events and markets eligible for the offer, amongst others.
David Archer, the owner of Freebets.com who ran the study, explained that the affiliate site only started tracking money-back deals after the 2013 Cheltenham Festival, and that the rankings system (which uses special algorithms) was developed to help customers see which sportsbook offers the best odds and deals.
Ladbrokes is also a key player in the world of online casinos, and has just announced an enhanced welcome offer for new customers, whereby (for a limited time) they can claim a 150% match bonus on their first deposit and fifty free spins on the Bust the Bank slot.
