Genting Casino have only just closed down their Lord Street casino in Southport, but have already opened up its replacement, a new casino in the £30 million new development on Southport’s promenade, The Waterfront.

The new casino will open on every day of the week from 10am – 6am, although for live gaming players will have to wait until midday. As well as the usual slots and gaming tables, the casino has been designed to attract a wider audience, by offering private function rooms, a restaurant, bar and stage for live entertainment. Players though will appreciate the 14 gaming tables, large poker room and an electronic roulette and slots area.
Genting Casino showed how it likes to be ahead of the crowd, as it was just the second company to move into the complex and as they agreed a deal early on in the development their new building was designed to their requirements and houses the latest gaming technology. They spent approximately £2 million on the casino which has views across Marine Lake, ready for any players waiting to have a break from the gaming tables.
