Gala Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited, which owns both an online casino and an online bingo site, has recently launched a new tab for bingo players which they hope will encourage members to try their recently-released betting offering, which is called Flutter.
Flutter has been launched in conjunction with Coral, and is specifically aimed at female players. The platform focuses on high-profile sports events in the world of football, darts, greyhounds, tennis, and horse-racing, and also allows players to place in-play bets. Unlike many popular sports-books, bettors can also wager on entertainment events such as celebrity charity boxing matches, and predict political election outcomes, TV talent show winners, and awards winners.
The 2014 World Cup in particular is likely to attract many of Gala Bingo’s members to try out the new service by placing a bet on their favourite football team.
Flutter’s designed to make betting more easily accessible to the female bingo-playing market in a safe and familiar environment, and offers explanatory tutorials of how to use the new service. Alongside it sits another new tab called ‘Lotto’, where Gala Bingo members can bet on a variety of European lotteries, including the UK, French, and German Lotto, Euro Lottery, Irish Daily Million, and Irish 49’s.
