Due for release in March, Emperor Of The Sea is a game coming soon from the popular developer Microgaming.
The game is one that comes from the mythical depths of the sea and features captivating music with a Chinese theme. A great feature is that players are able to choose from 38, 68 or 88 payline options.
These numbers are all said to represent fortune in Asian culture so is really fitting for the theme of the game.
The game boasts five reels and four rows of symbols but the game itself has a rather basic design when compared to others that are available online today.
You’ll find the traditional playing cards across the reels (9 through to Ace) and all have an oriental design to them. Koi carp, tortoises, coin pots, sailing ships and the Dragon Emperor complement these.
The game doesn’t boast quite as many features as we would have expected to see in the base game, but when you activate the free spins feature you are given Rolling Reels and Growing Wilds.
This is activated when you land three or more golden ingots on the reels; these are the scatter symbols.
You are immediately awarded eight free spins. When wins are created in the free spin mode, all the combinations of symbols creating the wins are removed and then replaced with more – this is the Rolling Reels feature.

Overall the game just doesn’t appear to have the playability of some of the more recent launches that we have seen. However, without having spun the reels on the game ourselves, we are going to reserve our full judgement until we are able to login to a casino that has the game in its portfolio, a casino like 32Red Casino.
