At the beginning of May, Ukash, the world-renowned cash payments provider, announced that they have signed-up Betfair, meaning that members of the online gambling operator’s websites will now be able to use this additional banking method.
The new service will be available to both online and mobile players, who will be able to deposit cash into their accounts using widely-available Ukash vouchers. They will also be able to withdraw funds using the same banking method via a reverse process.
The Group Operations Director of Betfair, Ian Chuter, says that the move will make it “easier for customers to transact” with the operator – something that Betfair’s aiming to improve on long-term.
Up until 2nd May 2014, Betfair’s banking methods for UK players included Delta, Solo, Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Neteller, Skrill, Paypal, ClickandBuy, cheque, bank transfer, and Western Union. Players who choose to take advantage of the new Ukash method will not be charged any processing fees and the time to process deposits and withdrawals will be instant.
Newcomers to Betfair’s online casino can use this new banking method to qualify for the new-player welcome bonus. When a player wagers just £10 on any of the site’s eligible games, they will receive a £20 bonus to use at the Live Casino.
