Bet365, the highly successful UK online gaming operator, has joined forces with the Hennessy Heritage Festival as its official sponsor for the highly anticipated annual event. The brand has agreed a long-term deal with Racecourse Newbury whereby it will sponsor 13 out of the 21 races during the three-day meeting which takes place between 28th and 30th November 2013.
Bet365’s joint Chief Executive, Denise Coates, says they’re “delighted to be supporting” the racing festival, which she says is one of the most “prestigious races in the National Hunt calendar.” The joint MD of Racecourse Newbury – Stephen Higgins – returned the compliment by saying his team are “thrilled to welcome” Bet365 on board and are equally happy that Hennessy (the world’s largest producer of cognac) have extended their sponsorship as well.
The Hennessy Heritage Festival culminates in the Hennessy Gold Cup, and over the course of the three-day event, spectators will be able to enjoy a series of exciting races as well as several shops, masterclasses and a feature bar called The Drawing Room. Punters will also get to mingle at the festival’s popular after-party on the final night. The festival first took place in 1960, and will therefore be celebrating its 53rd year this November.
