bet365 beating other bookmakers

Ray Winstone's TV ads have been just one of bet365's successes...

Online bookmaker and casino operator bet365 took more online bets than their more established competitors William Hill and Ladbrokes in the last financial year.

The site, founded and run by Denise Coates, accepted almost £20 billion of wagers in the twelve months leading up to March 2013. The Guardian reported that this figure is larger than those of William Hill and Ladbrokes combined.

But it’s not just the players that bet365 is popular with. Politicians and the general public have taken a liking to the company due to its decision to keep the vast majority of its workforce in the UK. The company is based in Stoke and employs more than 2,500 people and paid more than £31 million of corporation tax last year.

Having started out by taking her father’s small bookmaking business online, Coates has since diversified the products offered by bet365. In addition to their sportsbook and famed in-play markets, the company also operates online bingo, poker, games financials and casino products.

But what the company has really made its name for is top notch customer service, something that you’re likely to see us banging on about if you head over to the bet365 Casino review.
