Online casino operator 888 has signed a deal with software provider Net Entertainment to use its range of casino games.
The deal covers both online casino and mobile casino games which will be housed in 888’s casino and bingo products. The games will be playable in all of the regulated markets that 888 face, including Italy.
888 have been able to make the move thanks to their use of proprietary software. Almost all of their current games are created by Dragonfish, a B2B subsidiary of the casino’s parent company 888 Holdings. The advantage of this is that while other casino operators often sign deals that restrict them to offering games from just one software provider, 888 are able to use as many as they like.
Commenting on the deal, Net Entertainment’s CEO Per Eriksson expressed his delight at the deal but didn’t reveal when the games will be live on 888’s platforms.
He added: “Both parties are now working very close together to secure a successful integration and planning for commercial launch.”
Among Net Entertainment’s more popular games are the branded Scarface slot, Gonzo’s Quest and Starburst which has just been adapted to become a mobile slot.
