Coral’s online operations received a big boost this week with the former Ladbrokes veteran John O’Reilly coming on board to head up all interactive products.

O’Reilly began work at Coral on Monday as the managing director of interactive and will be looking to breathe a new lease of life into Coral casino and their other online products.

Speaking about his new role, O’Reilly said: “I couldn’t have a more exciting prospect than developing Coral’s online business.”

He also admitted that the company had yet to “punch its weight” online but revealed that he has been charged with rectifying this and growing the bookmakers online presence.

This is a challenge that certainly won’t be easy, but O’Reilly may well be the ideal man to take it up. He left Ladbrokes looking for new challenges and was thanked by Ladbrokes CEO Richard Glynn who said that he had “a massive contribution” to the growth and development of Ladbrokes’ online business. Coral casino players will be hoping that he has a similar effect at Coral, so keep an eye out for changes at the Chartwell powered casino.
