For the first time, William Hill will be offering Italian gamblers the chance to play at their online casino later this month. This opportunity occurs as a result of William Hill being given a license from Italian regulator AAMS.

Initially, William Hill will only be offering their casino product to Italian players but other online products are due to follow. As of midnight on July 19, William Hill will officially be available in Italy.

COO of William Hill Online, Jim Mullen confirmed that the license is for all products. He also explained that the William Hill casino was the right product to launch first in the country.

“We looked at the Italian market for 16 or 17 months and have seen how many people have been playing certain games,” Mullen said.

He added: “Casino had specifications and testing schedules in place and was the most appropriate product for use to launch first”.
