Ladbrokes Continue Revolution by Raiding Coral
Ladbrokes has been on something of a recruitment drive in recent times with a complete restructuring of the bookmaker taking place under the guidance of CEO Richard Glynn.
The restructuring, named ‘Project Galvanise’, has merged all online, retail and telephone betting products so that the company is run as one. Now, Project Galvanise has continued with the appointment of John Pettit. Pettit comes from Gala Coral, operators of Coral casino, where he was electronic gaming director. As Ladbrokes no longer operates with separate products, Pettit has been named in a commercial role allowing him to work across all of Ladbrokes’ products.
As electronic gaming director of Gala Coral, Pettit has helped Coral to operate the best performing electronic machines for a number of years. These electronic machines can be found in retail stores and include fixed odds betting terminals. In contrast, Ladbrokes has typically performed poorly in this area and could be looking to rectify this with the appointment of Pettit.
Ladbrokes and their products continue to go from strength to strength with new developments taking place all of the time.
