Today, Buzz Aldrin, one of the astronauts from the legendary Apollo 11 Moon Landings announced that mankind needs to start planning for Mars landings. Aldrin urged President Barack Obama and the US Congress to consider sending astronauts back to the moon, in order to “establish bases, put new telescopes on the moon, get prepared to go to Mars. Because the ultimate goal is to go to Mars”.
