Today the Mercury Music Prize shortlist was announced and, unsurprisingly, the  elves at Paddy Power (or as they prefer to be known, traders) have been busy providing bettors with the latest Mercury Music Prize odds. Well, below, you’ll find the latest odds for who will win the coveted music award.

While we are of course impartial, it looks like Florence and the Machine may scoop the title.  However, when we brought you 2008’s Mercury Prize odds (provided by Betfair), they wrongly predicted that Londoner Adele would scoop the prize.  Anyway, here are the odds on the Mercury Music Prize:
